Heineken USA says CEO Don Blaustein quits
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. — Heineken USA said Friday Chief Executive Don J. Blaustein has resigned, effective Aug. 31.
The company has not yet named a replacement.
In the interim, John Nicolson, regional president of the Americas unit, will oversee the USA business.
“Given my own career aspirations and a different view of how to build our business/portfolio in the current economic climate, I thought it best that we part ways,” Blaustein said in a statement.
Heineken USA is a subsidiary of Heineken International BV, an international brewer.
