Haryana man shot dead in Delhi

NEW DELHI - A 30-year-old man from Haryana was Tuesday shot dead by two motorcycle-borne assailants here, police said.

Satpal was shot dead around 11.20 a.m. in Mahipalpur area in south Delhi, a police officer said.

“Satpal was going with his cousin when the assailants fired at him. He died on the spot. The killers escaped,” the officer said.

Satpal had come to his cousin’s home Monday from Sonepat.

“Prima facie it seems to be a case of personal enmity. We are investigating the matter,” the officer added.
