General Dynamics gets $44.5M Army contract
WASHINGTON — A division of General Dynamics Corp. recently received a $44.5 million contract from the Army to provide ammunition for the government of Afghanistan and U.S. forces, the Pentagon said late Wednesday.
Work will be performed in St. Petersburg, Fla., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2012.
Shares of the Falls Church, Va.-based company fell 78 cents to $63.82 in late morning trading Thursday.
