Gang of donkey thieves busted in Pakistan

KARACHI - A five-member gang of thieves that stole as many as 150 donkeys has been busted here.

The gang stole the donkeys in this financial capital of Pakistan and sold them in the interior areas of Sindh province.

A police official told The News that that they had received numerous complaints from people who claimed that their donkeys were stolen.

On Sunday, police claimed to have arrested the gang members.

Another police official said the donkey thieves used to earn a handsome amount of money, because the price of a donkey ranges from Rs.15,000 to Rs.100,000.
