Alaska’s new lieutenant governor sworn in
ANCHORAGE, Alaska — Craig Campbell, former commissioner of the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, has been sworn in as Alaska’s lieutenant governor.
Judge Charles Huguelet administered the oath to Campbell Monday afternoon, just hours after Campbell was confirmed by the Alaska Legislature.
He succeeds Gov. Sean Parnell, who took office July 26 when Sarah Palin resigned.
Campbell and his wife, Anne Marie, were married in 1972. They live in Eagle River, and have two daughters and four grandchildren.

Campbell has a lot of baggage. That’s why he clicks with Sarah Palin. Alaska is in the top 5 for the most corrupt politicians and government. Campbell fits right in as he is nothing but a sleazy opportunist. From one who knows and won’t let it be forgotten. I plan to haunt him until hell freezes over. |

What a travesty making Craig Campbell Lt. Gov. of the great state of Alaska. He is nothing but a political opportunist with alleged ethical violations. Why trade one crook for another? Doesn’t make a lot of sense. Time for a rally and confront the Legislature on many of their votes. |
