Forest Oil names Raymond Wilcox as company’s newest board member

Forest Oil names new board member

NEW YORK — Forest Oil Corp. said Thursday that Raymond I. Wilcox has been appointed to its board of directors.

Wilcox retired last year as president and CEO of Chevron Phillips Chemical Company. He also served president of Chevron North America Exploration and Production Company.

“Ray Wilcox brings a long history of upstream expertise and proven strategic leadership to our board,” Forest Chairman James D. Lightner said in a statement. “We are excited that he will be a part of helping us shape the future of Forest Oil.”

Denver-based Forest Oil specializes in natural gas exploration and production in North America.
