Flowers buys patch of desert

LONDON - Rocker Brandon Flowers of The Killers has bought a patch of desert and wants to build a house there one day.
Thesun.co.uk reports that Flowers bought some land in his native Las Vegas where he hopes to build a house one day and will also put up a giant Desert Casino sign.
The band also revealed that their next album will have songs from Tom Waits, Genesis and Rod Stewart.
