GATLINBURG, Tenn. — Amid the backdrop of fall foliage in the Great Smoky Mountains, Tennessee is celebrating the season with crafts, food and music.

Dollywood in Pigeon Forge presents the “National Gospel and Harvest Celebration” Oct. 2 to 31. It’s one of the largest Southern gospel music events in the country and it’s also a showcase for artisans and harvest foods; details at www.dollywood.com.

From Oct. 8-25, the Gatlinburg Craftsmen’s Fair takes place at the Gatlinburg Convention Center, with unique art for sale and craftsmen demonstrating their skills.

Then on Nov. 4, more than 20 vendors take part in the Winter Magic Kickoff & Chili Cookoff, held on the Downtown Parkway in Gatlinburg.
