Explosions shake Baghdad

BAGHDAD - A series of explosions shook central Baghdad Wednesday morning, witnesses said.
Heavy black smoke filled the air over the city centre and emergency vehicles rushed to the scene.
One explosion took place near the Green Zone, the site of most foreign embassies. Another took place in the vicinity of Palestine Street, while yet another rocked al-Zaafaraniya, witnesses told DPA.
