Evergreen’s solar panels to supply 30 percent of the power for Massachusetts development

Evergreen panels chosen for Massachusetts project

MARLBORO, Mass. — Evergreen Solar Inc. said Tuesday that its String Ribbon solar panels will supply about 30 percent of the power to run Patriot Place, a 1.3 million-square-foot shopping, dining and entertainment complex located next to Gillette Stadium, home of the New England Patriots.

The company said more than 2,800 of the panels will be used. The company did not put a value on the contract.
