LONDON - Dublin has been voted the friendliest city in Europe in a poll of 8,000 people across 16 countries.

Adults from countries including America, Canada, Germany, Italy, France and Britain named the Irish capital as their top choice in the survey headed by market research company onepoll.

“Dublin is a worthy winner,” Scotsman quoted a spokesman for the market research company as saying.

“It is a fantastic city with a little bit of something for everyone.

“The locals are incredibly helpful, the bars are wonderful and the architecture in Merrion and Fitzwilliam squares is stunning,” the spokesman added. (ANI)
