GHAZIABAD - A man wanted in 45 criminal cases, mostly related to drug trafficking, was arrested by the Ghaziabad police from Delhi, officials said Wednesday.

Kallan, a resident of Main Bazar Kaila Bhatta in Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh, heads a five-member gang involved in drug trafficking. One member was arrested earlier, prompting Kallan to go underground, police said.

Kallan was caught Tuesday night from a hideout in Khajuri Khas area. After taking him on transit remand, Kallan was brought to Ghaziabad.

Kallan carries a reward of Rs.5,000 on his head.
