MUMBAI - Leading drug manufacturer, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Tuesday announced its net profits were up 10 percent to reach Rs.1.9 billion in the third quarter this fiscal.

Overall revenues were up 49 percent at Rs.18.4 billion as against Rs.12.3 billion in the corresponding quarter last year.

In a regulatory statement, the company said the growth was driven by the successful launch of the authorised generic version of GlaxoSmithKline’s drug Imitrex in November.

During the quarter, the company launched 26 new generic products and filed 32 new generic product registrations.
