Dolce, Gabbana to act in ‘Nine’

LONDON - Italian designer duo Stefano Gabbana and Domenico Dolce will play the role of priests in an upcoming film ‘Nine’.
‘Nine’ is a musical film based on the 1982 Broadway musical ‘8 1/2′ and has a starry cast that includes big names like Daniel Day-Lewis, Marion Cotillard, Judi Dench, Nicole Kidman, Penélope Cruz and Sophia Loren, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
It is being directed by Rob Marshall and is scheduled to release by the end of November.
This is not the first time the designer duo is making an appearance on the big screen. They first appeared in an Italian movie ‘L’Uomo delle stele’ (The Star Maker) in 1995 which went on to be nominated for an Academy award in the Best Foreign Film category.
