Doctors praise fighter Jade Goody’s strong heart

LONDON - Jade Goody was staying alive Friday through willpower and what her doctors called her ’strong heart’.
Taking a brief break from her bedside vigil at Jade’s home in Upshire, Essex, mum Jackiey, 50, told mirror.co.uk Thursday: ‘The nurses are doing a fabulous job.’
She added: ‘We cry, we laugh, we cry, we laugh. Me and Jack and Kevin break down every three minutes, then we start being idiots and try to laugh with each other.’
A close friend of Jade’s said doctors are amazed she is continuing to battle cancer.
The friend said: ‘Doctors are saying Jade is only hanging on because she has such a strong heart. They’ve rarely seen such a fighter.’
‘Star Wars’ legend David Prowse, 73, who is battling prostate cancer, has sent Jade a message of support.
Prowse, who played Darth Vader, said Jade should be ‘thoroughly proud’ of all she has achieved in raising the awareness about cervical cancer.
