Detroit schools official: 5 teens shot near school
DETROIT — A spokesman for Detroit schools says five teenagers have been shot near a high school but their conditions aren’t known.
Detroit Public Schools spokesman Steve Wasko says they were shot Tuesday about a block away from Cody High School shortly after summer school classes got out. He didn’t know if any of the teens shot were students at the school.
Detroit Police spokeswoman Yvette Walker didn’t immediately have any information.
