NEW DELHI - Delhiites will experience a hot day Tuesday with meteorological officials predicting that the day temperature will hover around 42 degrees Celsius.

The minimum temperature Tuesday settled at 24.6 degree Celsius — three degrees below normal — while the humidity level was recorded at 39 percent.

“The weather in Delhi will be hot following rise in maximum temperature. Skies will mainly be clear with no rains in the next few days,” said an official at the Safdarjung meteorological department.
