Delhi to remain hot, humid Friday

NEW DELHI - Delhi is likely to stay hot during Friday with the maximum temperature predicted around 42 degrees Celsius. The weatherman has also forecast hot winds and high humidity levels.

“The sky will remain clear during the day and may become partly cloudy in the evening. Relief from the heat is not likely,” said an official of the India Meteorological Department.

The minimum temperature will be around 31 degrees Celsius, a couple of notches above average.

The hot winds will continue Friday, the official said. A high humidity level of 61 percent is also expected.

The maximum temperature recorded Thursday was 41.8 degrees.
