NEW DELHI - Delhiites can continue to enjoy a respite from the scorching heat with the meteorological department Monday predicting thundershowers during the day that are likely to bring down the temperature.

The national capital Monday recorded a minimum temperature of 24 degrees Celsius that was four notches below the average for this time of the year.

“Delhi residents will enjoy a pleasant weather with possibility of a squall during afternoon which is likely to bring down the temperature,” an official at the Safdarjung met department told IANS.

The met office has forecast a cloudy sky with maximum temperature hovering around 38 degrees Celsius.
