Delhi Metro security force being strengthened

NEW DELHI - To provide fool-proof security to the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), the government has created 3,039 posts in the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), parliament was informed Tuesday.
Replying to a question in the house, Minister of State for Home Affairs Mullapally Ramachandran said the increase in the strength of the CISF, deployed for the security of the DMRC, is a continuous process.
He said a review is being conducted from time to time, keeping in view the security requirement of the DMRC.
