Cricket makes Congress smile

If it’s on cricket channels, the Indian masses will be watching. And the Congress has been quick to seize the opportunity.

Short ads released by the party highlighting its achievements and promises are appearing between breaks during the broadcast of the Test series between India and New Zealand.

The party knows well that cricket-crazy Indians rarely change channels - even during a commercial break.

Besides, India Saturday scored its first win in a Test match against New Zealand in that country in 33 years. That should sure make the Congress media managers smile - for more reasons than one.
