CHENNAI - The Communist Party of India’s Tamil Nadu secretary D. Pandian and five others were Wednesday granted bail in a land dispute case.

The six had filed an anticipatory bail petition in the Madurai bench of the Madras High Court Monday after a complaint was lodged by Pandian’s brother Soundarrajan for threatening him.

The dispute is about the sale of farmland by Soundarrajan to Pandian’s relative.
