Correction: World Briefly story
MINNEAPOLIS — In an Aug. 22 story in the World Briefly package about the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America changing its policy on gay clergy, The Associated Press erroneously paraphrased comments by the Rev. Mark Chavez of Landisville, Pa. Chavez said he would fight to keep the church from moving even further toward what he sees as an embrace of behavior condemned by Scripture.
