CORRECTION: Tecumseh leadership story

ANN ARBOR, Mich. — In an Oct. 7 story about leadership changes at Tecumseh Products Co., The Associated Press erroneously reported that former CEO Todd Herrick launched a proxy battle to elect himself to the company’s board in 2007. The Herrick Foundation nominated three people to the board, but Todd Herrick was not among those nominees. Also, Kent Herrick was not elected to the board in April 2007, but became a director at that time as part of a settlement with Tecumseh over corporate governance issues.
