Copano Energy names Carl A. Luna CFO

HOUSTON — Natural gas company Copano Energy LLC said Wednesday it named Carl A. Luna senior vice president and chief financial officer, effective immediately.

Luna, 40 has served as interim CFO since Aug. 17. He joined Copano in 2005 and was named vice president of finance in 2006.

Luna succeeds Matthew J. Assiff, who resigned in August.

Shares rose 50 cents, or 2.6 percent, to close at $19.89.
