Congress names Janardana Reddy for Rajya Sabha by-poll

NEW DELHI - The Congress Thursday named senior party leader N. Janardana Reddy as its candidate for a by-election to the Rajya Sabha from Andhra Pradesh.
‘Congress president Sonia Gandhi has approved the name of N. Janardana Reddy as Congress candidate for the by-election to the Rajya Sabha from Andhra Pradesh,’ Oscar Fernandes, in-charge of the Congress Central Election Committee, said in a statement here.
