Clinton to discuss energy projects in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD - US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is expected to announce a number of energy projects in Pakistan during her visit to the country, a media report said Friday.

The matter was discussed during a meeting between US envoy to Pakistan Anne W. Patterson and Pakistan Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani here Friday.

They also discussed other bilateral issues, the Online news agency reported.

Patterson said a US team would visit Pakistan to discuss the projects before Clinton arrives in the country.

The report, however, did not mention when Clinton would visit the country.
