NEW DELHI - Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) chief Leon Penetta will arrive here tonight to discuss the security situation in South Asia.

During his stay, he is scheduled to meet the National Security Advisor M K Narayanan and other senior security officials.

Apart from impact of the global economic crisis on the internal security, growing militancy in Pakistan and Bangladesh are likely to figure in the talks.

This is his first foreign visit after assuming the office of CIA Director.

His India visit comes weeks after he met Pakistan Army Chief General Pervez Ashfaq Kayani and ISI head lieutenant General Shuja Pasha in the US during their recent visit. (ANI)
