BEIJING - China’s exports and imports declined for the second consecutive month in December, reflecting deteriorating demand in external and domestic markets amid the global financial crisis.

The country’s exports fell 2.8 percent in December from a year earlier to $111.16 billion, while imports in the month totalled $72.18 billion, down 21.3 percent year on year, the General Administration of Customs said Tuesday.
