Cancer spreads to Jade Goody’s brain

LONDON - Terminally ill British reality TV star Jade Goody underwent a surgery Monday after her cancer rampaged uncontrollably throughout her body and even hit her brain.

The disease, which started in her cervix last year, has already been found in her liver, groin and bowel, reports thesun.co.uk.

‘Jade was told while in a hospital at the weekend that the cancer was travelling freely in her blood and has spread to her brain. This is, of course, awful but not unexpected. She has already been told the disease is terminal,’ revealed a tearful family friend.

‘This hasn’t shortened her life expectancy, which remains at weeks. But of course it is another extremely painful reminder of what lies ahead,’ the friend added.
