Boeing says it has delivered 78th 777 aircraft to Dubai-based Emirates

Boeing delivers 78th 777 to Emirates

EVERETT, Wash. — Plane maker Boeing Co. says it has delivered Dubai-based Emirates’ 78th 777 aircraft.

Boeing said Thursday that Emirates is the world’s largest operator of the 777.

Emirates has an additional 28 Boeing 777s on order, valued at more than $7 billion at current list prices, Boeing said in a statement.

The 777 is a long-haul aircraft.
