Blasts kill one in Lahore

ISLAMABAD - One person was killed and three others injured Wednesday in two explosions in the eastern Pakistani city of Lahore, Dawn news TV channel reported.

The blasts occurred near an official vehicle parked in the Gor area of Lahore, the capital of Pakistan’s eastern Punjab province, the report said.

Rescue teams and ambulances rushed to the site to shift the injured to a nearby hospital.

No group has claimed responsibility for the blasts, the report said.

The police have started an investigation.
