BJ’s names Babson College president to board
NATICK, Mass. — BJ’s Wholesale Club Inc. said Monday it has named the president of Maryland’s Babson College to its board of directors.
Leonard A. Schlesinger is an ex-chief operating officer of clothing retailer Limited Brands, where he oversaw operations for Express, Limited Stores, Victoria’s Secret Beauty, Bath and Body Works and other units. Schlesinger has also worked at Au Bon Pain Co. as chief operating officer.
He has also been a professor at the Harvard Business School, where he earned a Ph.D. in business administration.
Shares of Natick, Mass.-based BJ’s fell 12 cents to $36.52 on Monday.
