Bikers rob businessman outside bank in Delhi

NEW DELHI - In yet another incident of daylight robbery involving motorbike-borne assailants in the capital, a businessman was robbed of Rs.100,000 outside a bank in south Delhi.

Vikas Aggarwal, 36, was robbed when he came out of the Axim Bank’s Lajpat Nagar branch after withdrawing the amount around 1.30 p.m.

Aggarwal, who resides in Haryana’s Faridabad, told the police that two men on motorcycle snatched the cash and fled. He said the men were not wearing helmets.

‘We have launched a search, and investigations are underway,’ said a police officer.
