Biden tells Md. seniors reform won’t hurt Medicare
SILVER SPRING, Md. — Vice President Joe Biden told seniors at a Maryland retirement community that health insurance reform would not hurt Medicare.
Biden was joined by Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, whose office runs Medicare. They spoke in front of about 150 people at Leisure World in Montgomery County on Wednesday.
“Nobody is going to mess with your benefits,” Biden said. “All we do is make it better for people on Medicare.”
