Beckham picks his favourite goals

LONDON - British football star David Beckham says he doesn’t have one favourite ‘goal’ in his career, but quite a few.

Thesun.co.uk quoted him as saying: ‘I’ve been lucky enough in my career to score quite a few important goals and big goals. I’m not going to pick one favourite - I’m going to pick a few. The penalty against Argentina, that won us the game in the end, meant a lot to me as it wiped away a lot of tough memories.

‘The goal for England against Greece that put us through to the World Cup finals was very emotional. And the one from the halfway line - I think it was 51 yards, maybe a little bit less - was a goal I tried so many times as a young kid, but to do it at the full level was incredible.’
