Basque separatists claim 4 deadly attacks in Spain

MADRID —Basque separatist group ETA has claimed responsibility for four bombing attacks that left three people dead and 60 injured in Spain this summer.

An ETA statement says the group planted two bombs that exploded in late July, killing two officers and wounding 60 people.

It claims another July bomb attack on Socialist party offices in Durango, and says it also planted the car bomb that in June killed an officer Eduardo Antonio Puelles, who had been assigned to fighting Basque separatist terror.

The statement was published in Sunday’s edition of Basque newspaper Gara, one of ETA’s usual mouthpieces.

ETA has killed more than 825 people since 1968 when it started a violent campaign for an independent Basque state.

It is a TERRORIST group, for god´s sake, not a “separatist” group. How long will it take you to understand it? There’s a huge difference
