Bank robbery in Noida

NOIDA - Two unidentified armed men robbed a bank of Rs.6.50 lakh here Friday afternoon, police said.

While one of them assaulted the security guard at the entrance of the Bank of Maharashtra branch, the other robber threatened the cashier with a knife and snatched Rs.6.50 lakh from his desk, police said.

“The two men had not covered their faces. We are tracing them on the basis of what the bank staff could tell about their looks,” said R.R. Saini, station officer of the Sector-49 police station.
