Bank of America names chief accounting officer
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Bank of America Corp. said Thursday that Neil A. Cotty will become chief accounting officer, returning to a job he held before.
Cotty, 54, will replace Craig Rosato, 45, who was named consumer credit risk executive, the bank said Thursday.
Cotty has been chief financial officer of the company’s global banking and investment management businesses. He had served as chief accounting officer before the acquisition of Merrill Lynch last fall.
Cotty joined NationsBank in 1996 and was chief financial officer of global finance until the combination with BankAmerica Corp. He also held several other executive jobs.
