Audi sales up in June

NEW DELHI - Luxury car maker Audi sold 204 vehicles last month in Indian market, compared to 77 in June 2008, it said Thursday.
This takes the overall sales volumes of the German company to 821 for the first half of 2009, a growth of 75 percent year-on-year.
Audi India recorded growth in the first half of 2009, both in terms of sales and network expansion. The continuous success reaffirms our commitment to the Indian market, Audi India managing director Benoit Tiers said in a statement.
The company sells 11 products in the country across 11 cities.
