At least 1 shot at California’s Skyline College

SAN BRUNO, Calif. — California’s Skyline College campus is on lockdown as police search for a suspect who shot and wounded a student.

Leslie Shelton, director of the school’s learning center in San Bruno, says a student came into her building about 1 p.m. bleeding from an apparent gunshot wound.

She says police are searching for the shooter, checking cars that are leaving the campus.

The school is sending text messages to students, telling them to take shelter where they are.

San Bruno police did not immediately return a call for comment.
