Art fairs around the Midwest

DES MOINES — Several art fairs and festivals are taking place around the Midwest this summer and into September.

The Des Moines Art Festival takes place June 26-28, while ArtFest Midwest takes place in Des Moines June 27-28.

The Milwaukee Art Museum Lakefront Festival of the Arts is scheduled for June 19-21.

Three events are scheduled for the Minneapolis Arts Weekend, Aug. 8-9: The Powderhorn Art Fair, the Loring Park Art Festival, and the Uptown Art Fair, which starts Friday Aug. 7.

In Missouri, the District Art Annual in Kansas City’s Power & Light District is June 26-28; the St. Louis Art Festival is Sept. 11-13, and the 78th annual Plaza Art Fair is in Kansas City, Sept. 25-27.
