AP source: Fort Hood shooting suspect Army major

WASHINGTON — A law enforcement official says a shooting suspect at Fort Hood has been identified as Army Maj. Malik Nadal Hasan.

The official said Hasan, believed to be in his late 30s, was killed after opening fire at the base. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to discuss the case publicly.

The official says investigators are trying to determine if Hasan was his birth name, or if he changed his name and converted to the Islamic faith at some point in his life.

We need to take a lesson from History - In WWII did the US allow any Japanese to be a part of any branch of the US Armed Forces - I think not and for a good reason - Now I not a Biggot by any means but Common Sense shoul Prevail - Why take a chance a putting the enemy in our Camps!!!! The incident with the 101st division where the Muslim Soldier threw a hand grenade killing his fellow soldiers — DUH!!! WAKE UP PEOPLE
