AmerisourceBergen names new chief of drug division

VALLEY FORGE, Pa. — Drug distributor AmerisourceBergen Corp. said Monday it promoted the head of its specialty drug division to lead Amerisource Drug Corp., the company’s largest subsidiary.

In his new role Steven Collins will serve as executive vice president for Amerisource Drug Corp. He will report to Amerisource president and chief executive R. David Yost.

Michael Mullen will serve as the new head of AmerisourceBergen Specialty Group, also reporting to Yost. He previously spent six years in various positions with the group, including chief financial officer.

Shares of AmeriSourceBergen fell 19 cents Monday to close at $20.25.
