NEW YORK — The following stocks were among those that moved substantially or traded heavily Tuesday on the New York Stock Exchange:

The auto parts manufacturer won another extension on its credit line and reached a financial agreement with General Motors Co.

A strong quarter for new customer orders prompted FBR Capital Markets to hike its price target for the scientific instrument maker.
TJX Cos., down $1.05 at $34.33
The company said profit rose 31 percent as its stores like T.J. Maxx and Marshalls continued to lure in cost-conscious shoppers.
American Express Co., up $1.30 at $31.69
