Allocation for Bharat Nirman up 45 percent

NEW DELHI - Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee Monday stepped up by 45 percent the budgetary allocation for the flagship Bharat Nirman (Build India) programme that focuses on rural development and poverty alleviation.
