Allen to appear on US chat shows

LONDON - British pop star Lily Allen is attempting to make a breakthrough in the US and is now lining up appearances for talk shows.

According to mirror.co.uk, Allen is looking better now and will appear on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno in New York and also on The Oprah Winfrey show in Chicago. She is also featured on a few magazine covers.

A source close to her said: ‘Lily knows this is her big chance to become a household name in the States. She’s seen other British acts storm the US over the last year and knows she can be just as popular. She’s already known in the gossip columns over there but these appearances on chat shows will raise her profile by miles.’

‘Lily will have to tone down her usual wildchild behaviour. She has promised not to show off her third nipple or do anything that could offend the more conservative US market.’
