Agriculture futures trade mixed on the Chicago BOT; beef and pork prices mostly higher

Agriculture futures mixed, livestock prices gain
CHICAGO — Agriculture futures traded mixed midday Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for December delivery added 1.25 cents to $4.87 a bushel, while December corn slipped 0.5 cent to $3.1875 a bushel and November soybeans shed 1 cent to $9.50 a bushel. Oats for December delivery were unchanged at $2.14 a bushel.
Meanwhile, beef and pork futures were mostly higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
October live cattle edged up 0.13 cent to 86.90 cents a pound; October feeder cattle dipped 0.05 cent to 98.45 cents a pound; October lean hogs added 1.78 cents to 50.60 cents a pound; and February pork bellies advanced 1.60 cents to 80.60 cents a pound.
