Agriculture futures trade mixed on Chicago BOT, beef and pork prices mostly higher

Ag futures mixed, livestock prices mostly up
CHICAGO — Agriculture futures were mixed Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
September corn slipped 0.75 cent to $3.315 a bushel, while September wheat inched up 0.75 cent to $5.17 a bushel. Soybeans for November delivery shed 2.5 cents to $9.685 a bushel, while December oats were flat at $2.08.
Meanwhile, beef and pork futures were mostly higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
October live cattle dipped 0.20 cent to 89.65 cents a pound, but August feeder cattle added 0.08 cent to $1.0220 a pound. October lean hogs jumped 1.80 cents to 54.40 cents a pound, and August pork bellies gained 1.70 cents to 62.70 cents a pound.
