Agriculture futures gain on Chicago BOT; Livestock prices mixed on the Merc Exchange

Agriculture futures rise, livestock prices mixed
CHICAGO — Agriculture futures rose Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for December delivery added 4.75 cents to $4.68 a bushel; December corn rose 5.25 cents to $3.65 a bushel; November soybeans added 9 cents to $9.21 a bushel; and oats for December delivery jumped 2.5 cents to $2.345 a bushel.
Meanwhile, beef and pork futures were mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
December live cattle added 0.23 cent to 84.30 cents a pound; November feeder cattle shed 0.17 cent to 93 cents a pound; December lean hogs dipped 0.10 cent to 51.65 cents a pound; and February pork bellies rose 0.80 cent to 83.20 cents a pound.
